This wine comes from a very special block of heritage Pinot Noir clones (including Swan, Martini, Mt. Eden and Calera), planted at van der Kamp vineyard. It smells like strawberries and rhubarb, and tastes even better! Vibrantly aromatic red fruits with an edge of leafy green. This wine is exuberantly juicy and pure.

Van der Kamp vineyard was planted in 1953, making it the oldest Pinot Noir vines (still producing) in California. The family farms the entire site organically. The Pinot Noir comes from the original old block planted in 1953. The block is dry-farmed and mowed as opposed to tilled. For more about van der Kamp, click here.
